Student Council of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences (StuRa)

Who are they?
The StuRa is the official student representative body at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. It is made up of student volunteers and represents the interests of all students.

What does the StuRa do?
It represents your interests in many areas:

  • organizes the semester pass and services such as laptop and bike rentals
  • is actively involved in issues related to mobility, social affairs, international relations, culture, finance, and sustainability
  • sends students to serve on numerous university committees

Can I get involved—even as a student at the preparatory college (Studienkolleg)?
Yes! All students, including those at the preparatory college (Studienkolleg), can become members of the StuRa. This gives you the chance to actively shape decisions and bring the student perspective to the table.
