Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences has released new episodes of its podcast . Starting with Episode 38, the “hi@hszg” podcast features a new design and up-to-date content covering study options, future-oriented topics, and career prospects.

The new episodes focus in particular on the university’s current degree programs and topics. These include future-oriented fields such as sustainable energy and environmental engineering, Environmental Sciences and climate protection, international perspectives in Tourism Management, the intersection of culture and management, and innovative study formats such as the Foundation course in management. Additional episodes focusing on management will address healthcare and social change. Other episodes also explore Applied Nursing Science, as well as teacher training for high schools with a focus on special needs education, and the highly sought-after future field of semiconductor technologies—for example, in the “Semiconductor Processes and Materials Chemistry” degree programme or the new engineering degree programme “Mechatronics for Manufacturing.”

Charmingly hosted by Victoria Hohlfeld, the podcast offers prospective students authentic insights into course content, practical relevance, and career prospects. Faculty and students share firsthand accounts of their experiences and highlight the opportunities that studying at HSZG opens up.

With this podcast, the HSZG is expanding its range of information for prospective students with a flexible format that can be accessed anytime, anywhere. The episodes help students explore their academic options and provide an authentic picture of what it’s like to study at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences.
